It seems with the world economy broken I couldn't have picked a worse time to quit my job and chase a dream. All I wanted to do since I left school was draw. For the past 5 or 6 months I put my head down and went at like nothing before and now it seems it might have been for nothing. Illustrative jobs seem few and far between and I don't have endless amounts of savings to ride this creative train with.
I've considered going back to study, and picking up some 3D skills or anything else to make me more employable but I can't put aside the terrible fear that should I go ahead and do it that I still might not get a job at the end of it all. This would leave me broke and with skills (if the current economic conditions continue) not in very high demand. I would also immagine competion for any of the positions I would be seeking would be incredibly fierce.
Even some of my friends seem to be losing their jobs and they are working in fields I wouldn't have thought would be effected by the big blow out. So perhaps I should just grab a normal everyday job once again at the very least until this crazy time passes. Because after all the work I've done for apparently no reason I feel like I've broken my brain. Feeling disheartened after hard effort is the opposite of what I was going for

Just trying to sort my head out and hopefully getting my thoughts down will assist.
Is he still active? Will he ever be again? I definitely hope so. If you have a troubleful time : best wishes.

You're relaxed. You're sublime. You're amazing.
We'll see...
Thank you for your kind words.
Thought about to let you know. I guess, some stupid f**ks defacing your superb art (that I would recognize every where with closed eyes xD) is some sort of fame, too oO

No rly... can't say enough, how I like yer gallery. ;]
I learned differnt things from your artworks (I really envy your style)... atm I am having an eye on how you do backgrounds. Imho even simple backgrounds amplify an images "charism" and it looks much better then with monochrome bg only. Sometimes I'd wish you'd have provided higher resolutions to get a better view on details :>
Greetings and best wishes. (and post new stuff!!!)
PS: How's your situation? Any improvement yet (with regard to your journal)?

Re my situation. I'm currently studing again but not illustration, so my paintings are on hold at the moment. I've got a couple that aren't far off completion I just have to get around to them at some point.
Generally with my work I tailor it for lower rez, it work sort of like how the impressionist paintings did. From a distance it would come into focus and seem more real than when observed close up. My stuff seems more detailed at a smaller rez than at a larger rez.
Thanks again and all the best to you as well!
I'm expecting more to come
